If Isaac Newton had come up with a fourth Law of Motion, it would certainly have been this: Picks fall out of guitarists' hands at the most inopportune times. If you've been playing onstage as long as I have, you know what I'm talking about. And, of course, resourceful stage musicians will try just about anything to keep a few emergency picks on hand, whether it's jamming them into the strings on the headstock, or using putty to stick a spare to the side of the guitar.

Nowadays, however, none of that is necessary, because there are lots of inexpensive pick holders (and they work far better than the putty). As you can see in the pictures below, the first two Dunlop pick holders adhere to your guitar, holding a stack of picks at the ready. Other models attach to your mic stand. The Wedgie headstock pick holder slides in between the strings on your headstock, and provides a more reliable rubber grip for your spares. We've also included the Planet Waves LED keychain pick holder, which won't really help you out onstage, but is a great place to keep a few spare picks for jamming with friends.
